Anion Exchange Membranes

Alkymer® anion exchange membranes have high ionic conductivity, high mechanical strength and high chemical stability for applications in water electrolysers, alkaline fuel cells, CO₂ reduction and other fields. (Width 600mm, unrelated to the product model).

Schematic drawing

Alkymer® anion exchange membrane products consist of 3 layers. As shown in Figure 1, when in use, the cover sheet is first peeled off with a thin blade, and then the membrane is removed from the backing film to perform ion exchange as required. For example, in 1M NaOH solution, soaked at 80oC for 24h, and washed with deionized water for 3 to 4 times, an OH- type alkaline membrane can be obtained.

Notes

    • The product avoids contact with organic solvents, such as alcohols, otherwise it will cause product damage ranging from serious deformation to failure.

    • The product should not be exposed to open flames.

    • The product avoids contact with strong oxidants, such as chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, etc.
