The three-day World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition 2026 concluded successfully on May 21 at Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre in the Netherlands. As the world’s most influential annual hydrogen energy event, this year’s summit themed Climate, Energy and National Security gathered over 18,000 professional visitors, more than 500 exhibitors and over 300 industry leaders from 77 countries to discuss core pathways for the global commercialization of hydrogen energy.

EVE Hydrogen Energy made a high-profile appearance with its full lineup of AEM hydrogen production products and latest field deployment achievements. Wang Ying, General Manager of EVE Hydrogen Energy, delivered a keynote speech titled The AEM R&D and Application Progress of EVE Hydrogen Energy on the H2 Tech Innovation Stage. He systematically shared the company’s R&D advances and engineering practices in AEM water electrolysis hydrogen production with global industry participants, drawing widespread attention.

During his technical presentation on the H2 Tech Innovation Stage, General Manager Wang Ying elaborated on EVE Hydrogen Energy’s development journey and landmark breakthroughs in AEM technology. He noted that after years of technological accumulation and engineering iteration, EVE has built a complete technical system spanning core electrochemical mechanism research, electrolyzer design and system integration, with fully verified product performance and reliability proven by market deployments. Two landmark achievements were highlighted in the speech:

  • Accelerated commercialization of modular hydrogen production systems: Since the launch of standardized modular products in 2024, over 30 global enterprises have received EVE’s equipment, covering research labs, distributed hydrogen production, hydrogen refueling stations and industrial supporting scenarios. The products hold EU CE certification with full market access qualifications for Europe.

  • Major leap in off-grid hydrogen production technology: The 100kW-class centralized hydrogen production system at Hubei Jinquan has undergone comprehensive upgrades. Deeply integrated with PV energy storage systems, it delivers fully off-grid hydrogen generation and has run stably for more than 4,500 hours with an overall failure rate below 1%. In December 2025, the project was shortlisted in the MIIT Recommended Catalogue of Energy-Saving and Carbon-Reducing Technical Equipment for Industrial and Information Sectors, making it China’s first state-recognized demonstration project for AEM off-grid hydrogen production.

At the booth, EVE Hydrogen Energy exhibited its full industrial chain portfolio covering core electrolyzers, modular systems and centralized systems, alongside real-world application cases of products across all power grades:

  • Modular hydrogen production system: Boasting a highly integrated structure, 3.2MPa high hydrogen outlet pressure and outstanding energy efficiency of ≤4.3 kWh/Nm³, it stood out as a top distributed hydrogen solution. Supporting wide load adjustment from 15% to 120%, it perfectly accommodates fluctuating renewable power such as wind and solar, enabling rapid deployment for small and medium-scale hydrogen demand scenarios.

  • MW-class centralized hydrogen production system: Built on EVE’s self-developed MW electrolyzer platform, each single stack delivers hydrogen output above 100 Nm³/h. Its integrated single-stack design delivers a streamlined structure and simplified maintenance, offering cost-effective large-scale green hydrogen substitution solutions for high-carbon industries including chemicals and steel across Europe.

  • Custom electrolyzer services: EVE’s open collaboration model was highly praised by numerous European system integrators. Beyond standard electrolyzer products, the company develops tailor-made electrolyzers aligned with clients’ proprietary material systems and system design requirements, partnering with global players to deliver more competitive hydrogen generation solutions.

| In-depth Exchanges with Global Partners, Solid Steps in International Expansion

EVE’s booth attracted constant streams of visitors throughout the exhibition, including representatives from energy firms, system integrators, research institutes and investment bodies across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Southeast Asia. Attendees held in-depth discussions covering AEM performance advantages, engineering deployment experience and localized cooperation frameworks for the European market.

Multiple European energy enterprises expressed strong interest in EVE’s off-grid hydrogen technology, recognizing its perfect fit for green hydrogen generation in remote and renewable energy-rich regions of Europe. Several clients reached preliminary cooperation intentions to launch pilot projects for distributed and renewable energy-coupled hydrogen production.

Participation in the World Hydrogen Summit Netherlands marks a vital milestone in EVE Hydrogen Energy’s internationalization strategy. Moving forward, the company will continue to deepen core AEM water electrolysis technology, iterate product performance, expand global market presence and collaborate with upstream and downstream partners across the hydrogen value chain. Together, we will advance large-scale deployment of green hydrogen technology and contribute Chinese expertise to the global energy transition.
