New Ways to use Hydrogen for Scientific Research | EVE Hydrogen Energy Showcased AEM Composite Membrane at the 22nd National Electrochemical Conference

On November 8th, the 22nd National Electrochemical Conference successfully concluded at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. As the only exhibitor of Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM), EVE Hydrogen Energy showcased its AEM modular hydrogen production system at the conference and launched its anion exchange membrane - composite membrane product to the market for the first time.

The conference was hosted by the Electrochemical Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. With the theme of "Electrochemistry for Promoting Carbon Neutrality and High-Quality Development", it brought together domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of electrochemistry. They jointly focused on the basic, applied, and frontier issues in the development of electrochemical science and technology, comprehensively demonstrated the latest research progress and achievements in the field of electrochemistry in China, and thoroughly discussed the opportunities, challenges, and future development directions in the field of electrochemistry.

As a pioneer in AEM hydrogen production technology in China, EVE Hydrogen Energy has accumulated decades of research experience in AEM materials and electrochemical applications. It has witnessed and participated in the entire process of AEM technology from basic scientific research to engineering transformation and product commercialization, and is the first AEM industry pioneer in China that integrates the research and development, mass production, and sales of anion exchange membranes (AEM).

During this appearance, apart from communicating and learning with numerous expert peers in the field of electrochemistry, EVE Hydrogen Energy also officially launched its first anion exchange composite membrane product to everyone. Compared with the homogeneous membrane, this product has further upgrades in mechanical properties and stability, and can better adapt to the applicability and tolerance of the back-end electrolyzer under fluctuating and high-pressure working conditions. Meanwhile, the cell polarization performance based on this product can basically remain at the same level as that of the homogeneous membrane.

In addition, in order to effectively solve the problems of high hydrogen cost, inconvenient storage, and numerous potential safety hazards in the hydrogen usage scenarios for scientific research in enterprises and universities, EVE Hydrogen Energy also brought everyone the Wukong series modular hydrogen production system. The hydrogen cost of this system is only one-tenth of that of using traditional steel cylinders, the hydrogen flow rate can reach 1 - 3 Nm³/h (16.7 L/min), and it only occupies a space of 1/7 m³. It is not only easy to install and maintain but also requires no complicated infrastructure. The ready-to-use feature makes the hydrogen supply more flexible and convenient, enables it to quickly respond to experimental requirements, ensures safe operation under various working conditions, and provides a stable and reliable hydrogen supply for scientific research work.
